A top-class Florida-bred performer, Mister Fotis displayed the stamina to win the Unbridled Stakes at Calder around two turns as a 3-year-old and the speed to win the Kenny Noe Jr. Handicap at Calder in wire-to-wire fashion as a 4-year-old. In the Kenny Noe, Mister Fotis decisively defeated a field that included millionaire Silver Wagon, earning the son of Diligence a 113 Beyer Speed Figure.

The following year Mister Fotis became a graded stakes winner after he captured the Richter Scale Breeders’ Cup Sprint Championship Handicap (G2) at Gulfstream Park and retired at the end of his 5-year-old season with earnings of $425,440.
